A Couple Forever

Love beats down my enternal door,
her ways I truly adore.
I want her more and more,
as we caress,
I have thoughts that are careless
running through my head.
I tell her my innermost feelings,
she looks up into the ceiling,
and smiles, then we kiss.
We look outside at the morning mist,
she is blessed in her natural state,
and was worth the wait.
Her fragrance is heavenly,
her personality is deep.
I believe she will not creep.
We make love until we fall asleep.
When we wake,
every step we take,
together.
A couple that last forever.

Roller Coaster

Life is a roller coaster of emotions,
we search through life looking for solutions,
sometimes there is sadness,
madness,
and happiness.
I try to remember that I am blessed at all times.
As I write these lines,
I seek deep within,
With my heart, soul and pen,
I fall into sin,
but I think I an not perfect.
And that is the best- kept secret,
so with that I am okay.
As long as I pray,
looking toward a better day.
But along the roller coaster ride I know,
the Lord is there to help me grow.

I am Starved For Your Love

I am Starved for Your Love

From  my eyes tears have fallen,
because you are not callin,
I sing a duet lovers song,
without you to sing along.
I journey alone
anticipating the phone
to ring,
but i know you are gone.
Complicated as its seems,
I only see you visions and dreams,
Yet my soul is starved for your love.
So Starved For Your Love.

Slavery

Slavery

Stolen and locked away
without a key.
Working and not reciving a fee,
and forbidden not to learn to read.
So how could we nurture our seeds?
Slave ships,whips, and pimps,
so much grief and suffering,
loathing and detesting,
after years of work.
Caught reminiscing of our homeland
arcoss the sea, but we hear a cry
and we are still not free.
Yeah, slavery,
A white men's cruelty.

A life

A Life

The sweet agony of failure,
The awesome satisfaction of pleasure,
Are the best times to treasure.

The Flower That Never Wilts

The Flower That Never Wilts,
was something that the heavenly father could only quilt.
By God's gracious powers that be,
This flower lives on eternally.
And carried the burdens of many.
The flower's heart was is brave,
Especially when it rose from its grave.
Its goal was to reach the people,
and this flower conquers all evil.
It also has many followers,
but was crucified by its rulers.
Even though this flower,
Has all power.
It shows us grace and mercy,
and to drink from its roots you will never be thirsty.
This flower has no price,
and we will never know the torment of this flower's sacrifice.

The Walk

Do not follow the crowd,
stand tall and be proud,
keep your head high,
and it is okay to be shy,
but always try,
walking together through the fear,
I shead a tear,
knowing God will help us
to persevere.

A Poet Dying Young

When a poet dies young,
will his lyrics be put into a song.
Or will he be crucified and hung?
Will they remember his creed,
The last of a dying breed?
Maybe he will be remembered by his bad deeds.
Or leave lasting impression,
of written expression,
Then that indeed,
will be yesterday's planted seed,
a book that one day,
someone may find and read.

Journey

All I can do is move on,
the days will go on.
No more worries or pain,
things eventually will not be the same.
I will walk into the afterlife,
leaving behind the years of strife.
Going into the valley of everlasting life,
the shadows of evil will disappear,
and spiritual vibes will be in the air.
As angels sing and rejoice,
with a beautiful voice,
and  I will remember that I made Christ my choice.

Roll Tide. From My Book Heart Soul and Rhyme

A Poem  For Football

Roll Tide

I love to go to the ballgames,
It is amazing to see the players play with pain.
As they persevere,
the more I cheer.
As the team wins,
The great pageantry and electricity
fills the air.
Whether it is autumn hot Saturdays
or cloudy rainy days of winter,
The games play on.
As long as those great half backs run,
and the defense is stingy and hard-hitting,
the tide wil be rolling,
even bowling.
Thanks for the great teams,
these winners inspire me to live my dreams.
All I can say is "Roll Tide"
and to T-town I will forever ride.

Some Lyrics

The Poem Called

A Life

One Mo Flow

From my second book  Heart, Soul And Rhyme

  A  poem called Art

When dreaming
I stimulate
a million different meanings.
Interpertation of the situatiions
Is based on self experiences.
To define truth and beauty
is  deliverance for a searching soul
which glorfies art as a whole.
Also it is a place where
One can express himself,
and  a creative mind can dwell.

Some more rhymes

From my first book  A Collection Thoughts comes this poem.

A Ferris Wheel Of Hope

Up down round and round
life goes,
A ferris wheel of hope,
for those who can cope.
Imagine a society without dope,
or a world that is clean without soap,
for those who give their all
but still fall.
through the puzzled trials and tribulations
come hesitations,
but with determination
comes movtivation, success and inspiration said it best,
because life is only a test,
a ferris wheel of hope.

Another Poem From my Book Heart Soul and Rhyme

My Youth

Shattered dreams at seventeen,
A troubled teen,
smoking green,
schemes to make cream,
Only to become a fiend,
Shy around women,
Always one to be swimming,
The weed kept me grinning,
Alchool kept my head spinning,
only to go into institutions.
For corrections,
Rehabilitation,
led me to trying to live in moderation,
but I was left in disarray,
because I wanted it my way,
only to pray.
And eventually live for today,
But I say, "The past is the past."

A Reading of Poetry

I have composed a few of my poems. Here they are for yall to read.

The first poem comes from my first book called A Collection of Thoughts.

The  Title :   A Reflection of She

She was a rare pixie
in the heart of dixie.
She was full of grace,
and had a beautiful ebony face.
She spoke with intelligence,
never irrelevance.
Her soul was full of life.
I knew I wanted to make her my wife,
but things don't always work out in life.
We are not together,
but we are not apart,
because this love was never lost at heart.
I reminisce over the talks and walks
in the spring,
or how her angelic vioce would sing.
to think about her is to glide,
Through life not understanding or knowing,
just flowing
beautiful lyrics of love.
A ballad for you
to say I love you.
I cannot make a comparison,
but it just an attracttion,
not love but lust,
 funny how things bust!
