Come As You Are

Come As You Are

What a great book the Bible is.  The Bible is known as an instruction book on how to live before leaving earth.  From the bible, we have different interpretations on scripture.  It is believed that this is why we have so many different churches that we commonly call denominations.  It is through these churches that the body of Christ exist.
As we know the body of Christ consists of the believers of Jesus Christ.  Within the body of Christ, are many different types of people who take part in church services.  With this being the case, there are many different of types of people of all walks of life taking part in church services.  Some come from other countries or converts of other religions and you have various ethnic groups that make Christianity such a diverse melting pot of people from all over the world.  With Christianity being so diverse it makes the point that salvation is for everyone.  This makes the Gospel of Jesus Christ not exclusive but yet for everyone who seeks Jesus Christ.
The basic understanding of the fact that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is for everyone who wants it and It is also very important to remember that everyone has a right to salvation.  Romans Chapter 8 (vs-1-4)  “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.  For what the law could not do, in that was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”  Since Christ died for us, we have a blessing in salvation that we cannot earn but was freely given to us through Christ that died for us.  It is by God’s grace through faith that we have salvation and are saved.
Now there are many problems that occur in all churches.  As a matter of fact, no church is a perfect church or should not be seen as one.  One of the main problems that exist in most churches is the issue of passing judgment on others.  If salvation is for everyone, and we have salvation only through the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, then why do we continue to place judgment on others?  While we as all Christians are going to face our own judgment?  Matthew Chapter (7-vs-1-2)  “ Judge not, that ye be not judged.  For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.”  As the scripture indicates, why must we judge others when we are not perfect ether?  With judgment within the body of Christ, it makes young and old Christians have problems of staying in church.

What passing judgment does is that it distracts people from the main theme of church which is Worshiping God.  With judgment being passed, it hurts many people by making them find a reason to stop from going to church.  Why do we continue to pass judgment on others just because they do not look like us or wear the same clothes as we do?  By continuing this type of bad behavior of being judgmental, this hinders God’s work within the church and outside of church.  This is due to the fact that the church it self is not a building but the body of Christ.  It is a well known fact that only Jesus Christ is the son of the only living God.  Christ is the only person to ever live a perfect life, so why must Christians continue to judge?
Now that salvation is for everyone, its through salvation that we have hope for a life after death.  With God’s grace, we can deal and accept fear of the unknown due to having strong convictions of going to heaven.  It is in heaven that we Christians can rejoice in the all mighty awesome power that we call God.  As we know, it is through Christ that we have  salvation and thanks God for giving his son Jesus to die on the cross.  It is through Christ that we have overcome death and fear of the unknown.  It is Christ who takes the sting out of death by him dying on the cross.  With his death for us, gives us the conviction of there being a heaven which gives us the blessing of salvation.  Hebrews (Chapter -7-vs-22 and-25) “ By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.  And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by the reason of death: but this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.  Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.”  Our Lord Jesus Christ is the pastor of pastors the most high priest of priest and the greatest preacher ever.  It is through him that we as Christians do not have to worry about the fear of the unknown.
For a Christian there is nothing better than the Bible.  For the Bible is the greatest reference to the word of God.  It is in the bible that we as Christians become assured of the all mighty power of God.  It is through Jesus Christ, the son of God that we have the awesome blessing of salvation.  It is salvation that is a free gift from God that is for anyone who seeks Christ.  Remember the Gospel is for anyone and everyone who seeks God, and they will not be denied.  As for who all are interested are have the notion, please come to a church and Come as You Are.
