Because I Write

I write with the mind of a writer.

 With the heart of a fighter,

as a poet I en light

when I write

with incite.

Because I write

I keep it real

with what I write.

With so much zeal

sometimes how I feel

is the soul of the blues.

As I dealing with the issues of life

that‘s why I write.

Trying to right

my wrongs

when I write

It is as if I fight

when I right.

But I still have passion and sensitivity

with that comes with creativity. 

So with the mind of a writer

and the heart of a fighter.

All of this is because I write.
