Mother's Day

A strong lady

 that out of love,

would do anything

to raise her babies.

Tough love

was her way

to discipline me.

About God and life,

 she educated me.

Trying to show me

through life,

God would be the only thing that would sustain me.

As my first educator

and my biggest critic,

you are the inspiration for these lyrics.

For you

 to be you

is just simply poetic.

For my gift of life you bore.

As your heart toward me

 has always been and open door.

As, you are always

 willing to do anything for

my dreams to come true.

So, Mom all I can say

is thank you and I love you.
